How it works

From a printed code to a returning customer

Four steps, no installation, and nothing your customers have to download. Here is the whole thing, including the parts that happen behind the counter.

The four steps

What happens, in the order it happens

Most venues get through steps one and two before the lunch rush on the day they start.
  1. 01

    Print the code

We send a table tent, a window sticker and a till-side card, each carrying your venue's own QR code. Put them where people already stand still.

    In practice

    • Your kit arrives in the post, or download the artwork and print it yourself the same day.
    • Every code points at your venue, so a group can tell one room from another.
    • Codes never expire and never need reprinting when you change a reward.
  2. 02

    Customers scan and join

A phone camera, a first name and a mobile number. No app, no password, no confirmation email to chase. They are a member before the coffee lands.

    In practice

    • The member card opens in the browser and can be saved to a phone wallet in one tap.
    • Marketing consent is asked for plainly and stored with a timestamp, so your records hold up.
    • Returning customers are recognised by number, so nobody signs up twice by accident.
  3. 03

    Points land on every visit

Staff scan the customer's code at the till, or the customer scans yours. Points post straight away and the balance updates on their phone while they are still standing there.

    In practice

    • Works on the till tablet, an old phone by the pass, or a printed code on the counter.
    • Set bonus rules for slow hours, new menu items, or a first visit back after a long gap.
    • A mistake is a two-tap reversal, and it does not need a manager PIN.
  4. 04

    Rewards pull them back

At the threshold you set, the reward unlocks and we tell them. They come in to spend it, and in most kitchens they order something alongside it.

    In practice

    • Unlock messages go out by text, so they land without an app notification to enable.
    • Redemption is a single scan at the till and the reward closes itself out.
    • Win-back messages go to anyone who has slipped past their usual gap between visits.

Behind the counter

The part that decides whether it survives a busy Saturday

A loyalty program lives or dies on what staff have to do during a rush. This is what they do.
  • One screen, two taps

Staff open the scanner and point it at the customer's code. The balance appears, the points post, and the screen resets itself ready for the next person.

  • Mistakes fix themselves

Scanned twice? Tap reverse. It does not need a manager PIN, it does not need a phone call, and it does not leave a mess in the reporting.

  • The till keeps working

Scanning sits alongside your payment flow rather than inside it. If the tablet drops off the network, the queue still moves and points post when it reconnects.

Who does what

What we handle, and the four things you bring

Setting this up is a short conversation and a printer, not a project.

We handle

  • Sending reward-unlock and win-back texts, so nobody on your team has to remember
  • Storing marketing consent with a timestamp, which is what keeps you covered
  • Keeping the member card working on old phones as well as new ones
  • Importing an existing customer list before you go live, at no extra cost

You bring

  • A rough idea of what a reward should be worth on your margins
  • One phone or tablet that staff can reach at the till
  • Ten minutes to name your rewards and choose how points are earned
  • Somewhere to stand a table tent where people already wait

See it running on your own menu

Twenty minutes, your rewards, your margins. We will show you what the sign-up looks like at your counter and what the reporting tells you after a month.
